Cloud Solutions Architect will support the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions in a client facing role. Required qualification:

  • Gather requirements and propose solutions to address client’s needs
  • Design solutions to successfully migrate workloads to the cloud
  • Write Playbooks for other engineers to follow and migrate instances, implement operations and other controls
  • Continuously improve cloud migration and operations implementation process through tools and automation
  • Ensure that proposed cloud-based solution and architecture is consistent with the client’s security and other operational standards
  • Propose a solution to optimize cost in the cloud environment
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team
  • Help train client’s staff to be able to independently operate in the cloud
  • Present architectural vision to the client’s staff and senior management

Preferred Background: (or “Typical Successful Candidates have:”)

  • B.S degree in Computer Science or equivalent through combination of education and work experience
  • 10+ years of IT experience with 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS
  • Possess good understanding of cloud technologies and trends
  • Broad architectural experience of application and infrastructure in a complex enterprise environment
  • Experience in designing and implementing highly available and scalable applications
  • Strong understanding of Linux and Windows platforms
  • Must be familiar with DevOps tools and practices in cloud environment
  • Strong scripting and automation experience using one or more of the following: Bash, Powershell, Ruby, Python
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as: Ansible, Chef, Puppet
  • AWS professional level certification in either DevOps or Solution Architect, or ability to obtain this in short order

Senior DevOps Engineer

Enquizit is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Linux. We are looking for a talented, highly motivated, and innovative engineer with a track record of taking initiative. This individual must be capable of working in a fast-paced Agile environment, administering 24×7 client-facing environments, and working cooperatively with a multi-functional team.

The Linux DevOps Engineer will take a lead role in the administration of infrastructure and applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS). He/she will be responsible for the applications architecture and support in Amazon Web Services.

Required qualifications:

  • Knowledge of AWS user, security, and networking configurations
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services: EC2, ECS, S3, CloudFormation, RDS, CloudFront, VPC, Route53, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment tools and process
  • Strong security fundamentals
  • Expertise in Linux systems administration
  • A detailed understanding of core network protocols and services (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, REST/SOAP, FTPS/SFTP, DNS, SSL, firewalls, load balancers)
  • Good scripting skills in ruby, perl, python or bash
  • Experience scripting against APIs

  • Technical certifications highly desirable
